Today, LUBC had the distinct honor of hosting Mr. Sulav Budhathoki, Chairman & CEO of ICK and Founder & President of ING Group Nepal, for an inspiring talk with students in the LUBC Birmingham Room. Mr. Sulav, a highly respected leader in education overseeing over 20,000 students in Nepal, shared his extensive experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship, and educational management. This provided LUBC students with a rare opportunity to gain valuable real-world knowledge directly from an industry expert. The session also featured an address by LUBC CEO, Mr. Argus Ang, who offered additional insights on personal development, leadership mindset, and career preparation. On October 30, 2025, LUBC successfully hosted its Autumn 2025 Freshmen Orientation at the Edinburgh Campus Auditorium under the theme, "Sharpen Your International Perspective." The day was dedicated to welcoming new students and equipping them for their journey with a series of vital sessions. These included keynote addresses and an Official Welcome, along with deep dives into Academic Excellence and the Earn & Learn Pathway. Students gained real-world insights from LUBC Interns, learned about the RVi Go Achievement Award, and received crucial briefings on Visa Requirements and Cyber Security Awareness. The event concluded with practical Microsoft 365 and MST Trainings, ensuring freshmen are fully prepared for success in LUBC’s global and blended learning environment.
