🏃‍♀️🏃The Ayutthaya Run Run - Fun with History 2023 was an awe-inspiring triumph!
On Sunday, the captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ayutthaya, Thailand, welcomed over 2,000 runners, including faculty and students from LUBC, for an unforgettable racing experience. Co-organized by China Daily Asia Pacific and The RVi Group, this event united people from all corners of the globe to delve into our rich cultural heritage.
The Ayutthaya Run Run featured three thrilling race categories: a demanding 21-kilometre half-marathon, an exhilarating 10-kilometre challenge, and a joy-filled 6-kilometre run. Each stride taken during this event symbolized more than a race; it embodied a voyage through history and culture.
Yet, this race transcended the realm of running. It was a testament to our commitment to community. During the event, Mr. Argus Ang, CEO of The RVi Group, Mr. Zhou Li, Publisher & Editor in Chief of China Daily Asia Pacific, and Mr. Patcharaboon Sublom, President of YEC Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, joined forces to make a generous contribution to the Watprasatthon School Principal and Teachers, who were affected by recent floods. The fun run also raised funds for other schools and the community of Ayutthaya as a whole.
