🏃 LUBC Runs With History at the 7th Bagan Race 2025

The London Universities at Bangkok Centre (LUBC), a member of The RVi Group, was honored to participate in the 7th Bagan Race 2025 – Run With History, held on December 6, 2025, at the magnificent Bagan UNESCO World Heritage Site. Organized by RVIPS with The RVi Group as the main sponsor, the event successfully promoted cultural heritage and community support. The race brought together nearly 2,000 participants from across ASEAN, including runners, educators, community members, and partners, all celebrating the 4Cs philosophy (Culture, Community, Care, and Commitment) shared by RVi Group CEO, Mr. Argus Ang. Importantly, proceeds from this impactful initiative were donated to Ananda Pagoda and the Bagan Local Community, reinforcing the event's commitment to cultural preservation and giving back. LUBC is proud to stand alongside its partners in supporting this meaningful cause.

🌲 Final Trekking Triumph: LUBC Students Complete Khao Yai Expedition

LUBC students successfully completed the final chapter of their unforgettable Khao Yai expedition today, conquering both Trail 1 (Nature Trail) and Trail 4 (Dong Tiew to Sai Sorn Reservoir). The final trekking day offered a blend of beauty and education: Trail 1 led students through lush rainforests to the picturesque Kong Kaew Waterfall, where they observed wildlife like the hornbill birds. Trail 4 guided them past the awe-inspiring giant Biang tree and through natural habitats of the Lar gibbon, concluding at the serene Sai Sorn Reservoir. The adventure concluded with a refreshing visit to the iconic Haew Suwat Waterfall, following lively team games that strengthened friendships. LUBC is immensely proud of every student for the amazing effort, resilience, and teamwork demonstrated throughout the entire challenging and exploratory experience.

Summary of the Khao Yai National Park Expedition LUBC students continued their expedition today with an exciting and educational trekking adventure inside the breathtaking Khao Yai National Park, focusing on Trail 7 (Thai–American Friendship Trail) and Trail 3 (Nong Phak Chi Wildlife Observation Tower). The day was dedicated to hands-on learning in nature, exploring the park's remarkable ecosystem diversity—from Dry Evergreen Forests to grasslands and scenic viewpoints over Sai Sorn Reservoir. Beyond the trek, students sharpened their teamwork, communication, and outdoor skills by participating in a lively tent-setup activity. The entire experience allowed students to reconnect with nature, challenge themselves, and observe natural wildlife habitats, creating lasting memories.

On November 22, 2025, LUBC students officially participated in the Ayutthaya Marathon 2025, a powerful celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Thai–Chinese diplomatic relations within the majestic setting of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This prestigious global event was jointly organized by China Daily Asia Pacific and The RVi Group, alongside key government and local partners, reinforcing Ayutthaya's vision for international sports and cultural tourism. LUBC is extremely proud of the achievements of our participants: Mr. Devjeet (Faculty Member) secured an impressive 15th place in the 5km category. Mr. Shine Htet Htet (Student) achieved a strong 19th place in the same category. Congratulations to both Mr. Devjeet and Mr. Shine Htet Htet for their outstanding dedication! The LUBC community is now looking forward to the students' next adventure: an exciting trek in Khao Yai National Park.
